*This little 2/1 has been completely updated or raised and is new, efficiently arranged , has quite nice finishes. Appeared to be fully stocked for a long stay, (only there overnight) both a Nespresso and coffee machine was great! Nice shower and pressure! Firm comfort bedding *The outdoor spaces are comfortable and thoughtfully arranged (slider to deck off upstairs dining, and sailshade covered sectional seating on turf w lights ground floor (downstairs was not occupied during our stay) *The host was promptly available to assist when I could not locate the door code sent( went to my spam folder :-/) and though no fault on his end friendly and accommodating. *The house is located off of the longest canal on the bend past the houses from main, my personal preference as a paddle to main is short and pleasant (not crowded) without the noise/music/activity when time to relax and much more private for outdoor sitting than main. * Noteworthy, Host allows one night stays, perfect for us locals who live within an hour or so and don't want to do the drive back after a long day on the river, Thank you!!

It was such a pleasure to stay in Weeki Palace. It is such a peaceful and inviting spot with lots of activities with the kayaks, the weeki watchee state park nearby, and Henderson Beach ; there are lots of cool places to eat on the water. Love the decorations and comfy accommodations. At night we enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and the coffee and kitchen in the morning and paddling on the kayaks down to the swimming spot 15 minutes away. We went down to the state park 10 mins away and paddled down river after watching the mermaid show. We paddled a few minutes to the main river from the house. We also rented round boats and went to Rodger’s park which is also close, and explored various spots down river. Thank you to the family that maintains this peaceful locale.

The Weeki Palace was everything we needed for a weekend getaway. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The kayaks that were provided made for an enjoyable paddle down to the river. We also enjoyed the springs and seeing multiple manatees and different wildlife. Come dinner time, we grilled some food to enjoy down by the river and the propane fire pit. The included coffee/nespresso in the morning was the cherry on top. 10/10
